The North Georgia State Fair is the largest fair in metro Atlanta, attracting nearly 300,000 people.  Featuring free concerts, rides, great fair food, blue ribbon exhibits, farm animals and much more!

The FREE Concert Series for the 2009 North Georgia State Fair under the covered arena includes:

Luke Bryan on Friday, September 25 at 8 p.m.
Keith Anderson on Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m.
Joe Nichols on Wednesday, September 30 at 8 p.m.
Billy Currington on Thursday, October 1 at 8 p.m.
Newsboys, with Seventh Day Slumber & Bread of Stone on Friday, October 2 at 8 p. m.  
Chuck Wicks on Saturday, October 3 at 8 p.m.

 New for 2009:

Frisco Brothers Tiger Encounter & Elephant Show features an educational show for the entire family with fierce and mighty tigers and large and loveable elephants. The Tiger Encounter showcases rare white and tabby tigers in their natural habitat.

The African Elephant Show features over-sized entertainment – with amazing performances and a talented “Painting Elephant”!

 Skin & Bones & Co – comedy. The show includes various combinations of trained dogs, potbellied pigs, juggling, magic and plenty of comedy. This show is kidtested and parent approved.

– A unique presentation of animals, skills and Attractions: Show is an all NEW 2009 show! The last show each day features a fire dive.

Keith King BMX Bike Show, Oscar the Robot, Brian Ruth the Chainsaw Master, and Frisco Brothers Petting Zoo and Pony Rides.

Back again this year: The High Dive Show – The Arctic Olympic High Dive

 Tickets can be purchased at the gate at $5 for adults, $2 for students ages 7 to 18 and free for children 6 and under. Ride tickets are $1 each, $20 for 22 tickets, and $50 for 55 tickets. Parking is $3. ATM machines are located on the midway.

To visit the North Georgia State Fair, take Interstate-75 North to Exit 260 (Windy Hill Road) and go west. Go approximately five miles until Windy Hill Road dead ends and turn left on Austell Road.
