The Arts in Acworth Do you know what I am finding out?  The Historic Downtown District of Acworth is one of the best kept secrets in Metro Atlanta. I know this because I have been meeting with many marketing folks these days while trying to talk my way into low cost advertising for the Theatre On Main. When these sophisticated, savvy sales people come into theHistoric Downtown District and see what you have right here they are taken back by the friendliness, ambiance, good food and things they didn’t expect. KENNESAWS’S SECRET GARDEN  – The Smith-Gilbert Garden, formerly the Smith-Gilbert Arboretum is owned by the city of Kennesaw. This secret garden is not grand or forbidding, but approachable and well loved. If you live in the area, you have found a fertile resource. HOST YOUR OWN WINE TASTING  There is just something about holding a glass of wine in your hand.  Sipping Champagne makes us feel festive and even stand up a little taller.   Enjoying a glass of wine and nibbling on cheese seems not just civilized but sophisticated.  Wine even has it’s own language that is not described as flowery but, in fact, sensual.  “A big muscular style with mocha and cocoa notes embedded in fleshy, ripe fruit with well integrated acidity and a long, firm finish.”  Oh yeah, give me a glass of that!  Click to Read More

That reward is hope for homeless, addicted women in our community. Click Here to Read More ……….
