So You Want to Eat Free BBQ- Become a Judge at Smoke on the Lake – Acworth
Our judges will be a combination of people who just enjoy good BBQ, KCBA certified judges and some celebrity judges judges. All judges will be required to attend a judges seminar on Saturday morning.
The judges seminar will be lead by none other than Sam Huff, founder and Dean of the famous Pork U training class for backyard BBQ chefs. He also leads the Lost Mountain BBQ Team, which has competed in the Memphis in May national BBQ championship. Sam is considered one of Atlanta’s true BBQ guys. Besides running Pork U and having his own team, he is the owner operator of Sam’s BBQ One restaurant in East Cobb. He will be assisted both by several KCBA sanctioned judges and experienced competition cookers.
